Beautiful and Broken was Ms. Hubbard’s first contemporary novel, and let me tell you…she did an OUTSTANDING job, far surpassing my expectations, in fact.
This is the story of Molly. You see, Molly was betrayed by her sister when the girl went and did the unthinkable. She had an affair with her fiance. Now Molly’s stuck nursing a broken heart while trying to put on a happy face for everyone else. Until one night, it all changes and Molly goes out on the town with her roommate, meeting a man, and having a one night stand with him. The quiet, sexy, alpha boxer Sawyer is her conquest. Sawyer was supposed to help her get over her ex, but is that even possible?
Maybe…especially when her one night stand turns into a business proposition of sorts.
Sawyer needs a house and he wants Molly to find it for him. Molly agrees, regardless of how he makes her feel. Wild, untamed, and needy…for him. But with the heart involved, who knows what’s going to happen…
Molly was a heroine unlike any other. Vulnerable, but tough. Angry, but so likable and kind at the same time. She doesn’t like to disappoint the people around her, and she REALLY doesn’t like to step out of her comfort zone. She jumps off the pages with her humor, and makes you want to be her friend. Loved everything about her.
Sawyer…sweet Jesus, that man KNOWS how to make you swoon. Sexy, charming, charismatic, secretive, an alpha with a side that will make you shiver. Loved him even more than Molly, if that’s even possible.
Overall, Beautiful and Broken was that of romantic perfection. I ate this book up in matter of hours, only stopping when my kids made me. Perfectly executed, Beautiful and Broken is a love story you don’t want to mix. Great sexual tension, humor intermixed, a contemporary romance you’ll be unable to put down. My only wish? That somewhere out there, a man like Sawyer truly existed because he IS ultimate boyfriend material.
But please, just don’t tell my hubby, okay? :)

I truly loved every minute of this book I read it straight through from the first page to the last. Funny, suspenseful, sad, and the love scenes are HOT.
This was an excellent book. The characters were all well written. Molly and Sawyer both deserved a happy ending. I only wish there was a peek into their future. In would recommend this book. Well done.
Molly and her fiance had been together since high school. Until there wedding day and he got caught kissing her sister. Molly ended it and fell in love with a bad boy fighter Sawyer. Sawyer grew up with a bad abusive childhood. Sawyer and Molly are made for one another.
This is very enjoyable book. It was a little slow with the story line in the beginning, and at certain places throughout the book, but it did pick back up. I loved the scenes between Sawyer and Molly. They were funny yet very sweet. They are both broken and lean on each other for strength. Amy was a great friend, maybe a little overprotective, but good. I absolutely loathed Jason and Molly's mom. I think her mom was worse because she had no consideration for Molly or her feelings. The scene at dinner with the dog and panties, and the tooth to the head fight scene.... hilarious!!! I was very glad there was an HEA, but it was not horribly cheesy or over the top.
I did really enjoy reading beautiful and broken. However I was a little confused as to the way it ended, it seems that there is a second book but it felt to me it just kind of ended I wanted more. I loved Sawyer the deep dark mysterious damaged boxer who doesn't love a tough strong muscled fighter (yes please) I loved who he was around Molly. Jason what a jerk he got what he deserved. I really loved Molly's character she was down and out but is still a tough nut. I really loved the back up characters Amy and Charlie and feel there is a great story there. All on the whole it was a great quick read I finished it in a day..... More more more I say!!!!
What can I say, I SO SO SO LOVED this book!!! Sawyer is VERY HOT, Dark, Brooding and Sexy and Molly is your typical goody goody, winey and not very proactive, yet together they make this story EXPOLDE. She is healing a broken heart and he is just trying to survive. Her Family in this book will drive you insane and you will want to scream at her mother through every turn of the page .... Thank Goodness for her Best Friends, Amy and Megan to help her get through. I Highly Encourage you to get this story today. You will not be disappointed.
I couldn't enjoy this book because I loathed the female protagonist. Molly was a total wimp, a slob, a jerk, and about 15 other negative adjectives. She never rarely stood up for herself or her friends, and took the path of least resistance in every situation. She let her family, her friends, her co-workers, and her ex walk all over her. Repeatedly. Bemoaning it in her head or even aloud didn't distract me from the fact that she continued to let it happen. Basically, I didn't respect her, so I didn't care about her life. Sawyer seemed like a more compelling character but, perhaps due to my antipathy for Molly, I didn't really believe their romance. I bought this book because I enjoyed Ms. Hubbard's hockey romance, but this one didn't work for me at all.
